Welcome

Portland’s Cable Tram links the Portland Botanic Gardens, Portland Maritime Discovery Centre, Powerhouse Vintage Car Museum, WWII Memorial Lookout Tower and our own Cable Tram Museum, whilst providing a scenic ride along the picturesque Portland Bay foreshore.

The tram runs seven days a week, between 10am-4pm in summer and 10am-3pm in winter. Tickets can be used to travel all day, and visitors can get on and off as they please at any of the 5 stops along the way.

Concession: $12
Child (5-16yo): $6
Child (Under 5): Free

New Tram

We are happy to announce that we have had our new Grip Car certified and will be operational soon. Our new Carriage is still in progress.

Winter Hours

Our tram runs on the first 4 trips during Winter. Yes! We run on Public Holidays. Normal services will resume from September 1, 2009.
